The Chameleon Society of WA was established in the 1970?s and holds regular meetings at which men can cross dress and meet like minded people. Other social events are organized at both private and public venues for members to enjoy their cross dressing in a more public arena.

For everything you need to know about your legal rights as a West Australian Gay, Lesbian, Bi or Trans citizen. The site provides straightforward descriptions of the law and referrals for matters such as parenting and artificial insemination, de facto relationships and discrimination. This site was co-produced with Gay and Lesbian Equality (GALE).

FPWA offers sexual health information online, including fact sheets and other information about safe sex, STI testing and their medical clinic and counselling services in Northbridge and Fremantle.

Freedom Centre provides a safe social space, peer support, information and referral for young gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and questioning youth, under 26. It is run and coordinated by young, trained peer based volunteers and staff (18-26yrs) with management from the WA AIDS Council. Freedom Centre also provides services and information for professionals working with young people. GALE is WA’s peak gay and lesbian rights lobby group, working to enhance and defend equality for the GLBTI community. GALE was instrumental in successful state gay and lesbian law reform campaigns in the late-90’s and early 00’s. Their site contains information and links about current campaigns, notably the push for federal law reform for same sex couples.

Perth’s community choir is always open to new members. No previous choral or musical experience is necessary and there are no auditions. Just come along to rehearsal Thursday evenings 7-9 pm at the North Perth Town Hall (rear of building) or visit their website for further information.

GRAI works to ensure that there are a range of options for the development of retirement and aged care services and facilities for older people of diverse sexualities and gender identities in WA.

Lesbians on the Loose Magazine also known as LOTL Magazine is Australia's only lesbian publication. It is published monthly and is available through subscriptions (print and digital) LOTL features community news, music, travel, events and interviews.

OUTinPerth is a free monthly newspaper exclusively for gay and lesbian people and their community and friends.

P-FLAG is a worldwide network providing support for parents, families and friends of same sex attracted people. The Perth group is very active and always welcomes new members to their monthly meetings. Groups are also available in Avon Valley, Bunbury and Rockingham.

PICYS provides support to young people with long-term complex needs aged 16 to 25. They provide externally supported accommodation, outreach, mental health and drug support. Some of their support and accommodation is specific for lesbian, gay, bi, trans, intersex, queer and questioning young people.

Pride organises the annual Pride cultural festival, fair day, street parade and party as well as other events throughout the year to celebrate diverse sexualities and genders.

Primetimers is a social group for gay or bisexual men who have achieved at least 40 years of age.

Project X is a sexual health info site and online community for same sex attracted men. This site contains some adult content and is only suitable for people over 18 years.

Touching upon local flavour and tossing in a healthy taste of international allure, SASS magazine is a 50-page Australian-based lesbian monthly. Covering topics like Coming out, Bullying, travel, fashion, pets, and much more, SASS Magazine empowers, informs and entertains the lesbian community. This exciting Australian monthly is available in print and online.

secca provides counselling for people with a disability, their partners, carers and family around relationships and sexuality. Professional education and consultancy is also available covering sexuality and disability. Fees may apply.

The WA AIDS Council offers services such as free confidential HIV and STI testing, safe sex education as well as support and referral services for people living with HIV. They also provide peer support and education targeting men who have sex with men and affordable means-tested professional counselling. Their counsellor is experienced in a range of issues including sexuality, gender issues, relationships, sexual health and living with HIV.

The WA Gender Project is a lobby group for gender diverse people in Western Australia. It seeks to inform government and the wider community about the needs of people whose gender expression differs from societal expectations. In particular, the group seeks to represent the interests of transsexual, transgender and genderqueer people, as well as people with intersex conditions who identify as intersex and gender diverse youth. You do not have to be trans* or intersex to be involved, just gender-aware.
