The GLCS “Living Library”
Our trained public speakers can visit your school, University, TAFE College or workplace to provide personal insights into their lives as gay men or lesbians. They can help your students or staff replace the myths and stereotypes that abound in our culture with a more accurate and contemporary understanding of diverse sexuality and gender. Our public speakers have been invited to talk to:
- The Royal College of GPs
- Curtin University nursing school
- Notre Dame University medical school
- Ballajura Community College students
- The Baptist Church’s annual AMUC Youth Camp
We are also often invited to attend University O-Days and other public events such as the Big Day Out.
